Born in 1982, she received her education in interior design and decoration. For eight years she worked as a practicing decorator and designer. For two years Julia has been studying ceramics in Moscow in her workshop.
"Ceramics is what I have always wanted to do for real. I came to this through design and always wanted to create an interior the way I see it. Now I do it literally, with my own hands. I always mix and match. Simple shapes of objects with different combinations of textures are, in fact, the main idea of my work ".
Julia practically does not use bright colors, she creates products in an achromatic and monochrome palette. Basically she works with fireclay clay, less often with light-burning masses. She does not use a potter's wheel in his work, all objects (plates, vases, glasses and mugs, interior items) are created using hand-made techniques. Julia thinks in images and, creating objects, thinks comprehensively about space and composition, about how holistically and deeply they reveal the inner world of their inhabitants.
